How to scan multiple pages into one PDF on iPhone
ScanFile guide
When several sheets belong together, the useful result is one ordered PDF—not a pile of separate photos. ScanFile lets you capture or import every page, review the order, and share the finished document as one file.
1. Start a new scan
Open ScanFile and start the document scanner. Place the first page on a contrasting, evenly lit surface and hold the iPhone so the full sheet is visible. Let the edge outline settle, then capture the page.
2. Capture the remaining pages
Continue adding pages before finishing the document. You can also import existing images or a PDF when some of the pages are already on your phone.
3. Review and reorder
Check the thumbnails before export. Move any out-of-order page into place, rotate sideways pages, retake a blurry page, and delete accidental captures.
4. Clean up the document
Adjust the crop when an edge is wrong and apply a document-friendly filter when it makes the text easier to read. Keep the original appearance for photographs, illustrations, or diagrams that need their natural color.
5. Export one PDF
Choose PDF from the share options. ScanFile assembles the current page order into one file that you can send through Mail or Messages, AirDrop to another device, or save to Files.
When a dedicated scanner helps
Apple includes document scanning in several built-in apps. A dedicated scanner is most useful when you want one consistent place to import, review, rename, organize, edit, and export the documents you scan repeatedly.
